What are your job responsibilities?

I am now in charge of any technical support that is required in Marking Product Line.

As a Technical Engineer person, we provide technical support for the products that our Sales Engineers are proposing to customers. For those projects that involve a pre-testing phase or require high technical skills, we can be the strong backup for the technical side. We always work together with our Sales Engineers to aim for closing deals.

After selling the product to the customer, we explain how to use, support their work, and give advice so that customers can utilize our product correctly and efficiently. If any problems occurred due to a mismatch in the settings or a failure in the device which the customer cannot solve by themselves, we promptly take action in order to solve their problem.

Additionally, we provide product training to our newly joined Sales Engineers and plan the schedule and training contents for their development. We also prepare and manage the necessary equipment for sales activities.

What is your motivation for working at KEYENCE?

In my case, when I first joined KEYENCE, I was a Sales Engineer. But now my role has changed to Technical Engineer, and I can feel different motivations in various situations. My motivations are:

When I found that the new Sales Engineers whom we trained were developed well with their experience and growth, and that they were able to respond appropriately to customers’ questions or gain new customers by themselves, I feel very happy that I could contribute to their development.

In the worst case scenario, when customers face an unexpected failure in their equipment, they would have to shut down their production line. That is the moment for us to strive for solving the problem for them. As a result of our contribution, the problems are solved, and we received a big "Thank you!" from the customer. Furthermore, I feel extremely happy when I get a new sales opportunity by being appreciated for the support we offered in the past.

I have been taking care of Laser Marker products. Now, Laser Markers are more widely used in Thailand compared to 10 years ago, so you can often see some products printed with KEYENCE laser marking products in everyday life. I feel very glad when I can see such products.

I think those above things that make me happy are the rewards I get from my work, which make me proud.

How do you want to contribute to KEYENCE?

KEYENCE continues to develop new products with the latest new technology. As we are the people to sell them, I think it is very important for us to study every day, accept new changes, and to be strongly conscious of the growth in ourselves.

The strength of KEYENCE is that our Sales Engineers do their sales activities diligently and seriously with both technical and consultative skills.

I believe that supporting those Sales Engineers from the technical side is the contribution to KEYENCE.

Message to applicants

It’s been more than 10 years since I started to live in Thailand.

I also feel that I am very lucky to be able to work and live in this Thailand's rapid economic growth. I can feel that Thailand's manufacturing industry continues to be strong, and it has been really beneficial for me to be able to handle KEYENCE products that are directly involved in the manufacturing business.

KEYENCE is not only a company which provides high-value products, but also has a unique sales strategy. KEYENCE is a company whose goal is to achieve high performance by having all employees work seriously.

There are some days when I feel very tough to work at KEYENCE and there are still lots of skills and knowledge I have to learn. But I also think that I can really feel the reward for my efforts.
