What are your job responsibilities?

As the Area Sales Manager for the 'Microscope Product' team at KEYENCE, my primary responsibility is “Playing Manager” to serve as both a leader and an active contributor. This involves not only directly selling our products but also ensuring that the team consistently meets their goals. I work to motivate and support my team members, helping them go the extra mile by identifying the most effective strategies to achieve both individual and collective targets.

What is your goal in KEYENCE?

While I do not have a specific fixed goal, my passion lies in continuously improving and developing both myself and my team every day. Personal and team growth, along with gaining valuable experience, are my primary objectives. As a sales engineer, our focus extends beyond not just only the result but we emphasize the 'how to do' the methods and strategies necessary to achieve success which is the biggest goal for me.

For example, it's about determining the right actions to meet our targets and strengthening the team further. I firmly believe that KEYENCE focusing on providing the opportunity to develop these essential soft skills to all members.

What do you like about KEYENCE?

I have been with KEYENCE for nearly seven years. During this time, KEYENCE has provided me with not only valuable sales experience but also a strong foundation in logical thinking and problem-solving skills. While many people may view a sales position as focused solely on selling products and achieving targets, KEYENCE takes a broader approach. We do not prioritize sales numbers alone instead we emphasize 'growth.' This means we focus on continuously improving our sales strategies, maximizing our efforts, and enhancing team management. Through this approach, I have gained essential knowledge and skills that I had never anticipated. Additionally, the work environment at KEYENCE is characterized by a flat organizational structure, where all employees genuinely support and assist each other.
